Kern Riverboard

Designed, Built, and Tested in Southern California, Kern Riverboards are constructed using high quality mini-cell foam, a smooth, hard plastic hull and soft foam/rubber coated top. The result is a great surfer, with extreme river-running capabilities. Mini-Cell foam retains zero water, while providing a soft and durable cushion to keep you on your board. Whether surfing your favorite hole, teaching a newbie, or running a day long class IV trip, Kern Riverboards are an affordable, reliable way to get you on the river. Handles are made with high quality strapping material (available in most colors), with clear plastic grip. To fit your hand size, simply trim the plastic back.

Kern Riverboards measure 2’ X 4’ (standard riverboard size). They surf like an ocean bodyboard, while still giving you the protection of a full sized riverboard. They have been used on creeks, big water rivers, low water rivers, the ocean, and of course local surfing waves. The Kern Riverboard is also the personal board of 2008 FLRC champion Alex Koutzoukis.
